About Me

Hello and Welcome!  My name is Jessica and I am a nerd.  I love all things nerdy: videos games, sci-fi, internet memes, reading, and of course super heroes.  I also love the fitness and health industry.  Usually there isn't much overlap between the health industry and the gaming community and that's something I think should change.  So here is a little about me.

I have played video games since I was 10 years old.  It all started with a Super Nintendo and since then has moved to just about everything from console games, handheld, PC games and MMORPG's.  There hasn't ever been a time when I haven't been playing something.  My favorites are World of Warcraft, Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts (cause yeah I'm a girl) but I have fun no matter the game.

I have also played sports since I was young.  I started at the YMCA doing Karate and moved into wrestling and track when I got to high school.  I wrestled and lifted weights for 8 years through college and high school.  The years wrestling have definitely left their mark on my body but they are some of my best memories.

Wresting exposed me to quite a few injuries but also helped to shape my life and ultimately lead me to my career choice in the health field.  I graduated with my BA in athletic training from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT and then graduated with my MA in athletic training from Indiana State University

I currently live in Texas and work as a personal trainer.

 I also have two dogs, they are Alaskan Klee Kais and if you don't like posts of cute animals you should cover your eyes.  Seriously hurry pictures are coming.
